The First Time Home Buyer (FTHB) Tax Credit has been extended
with new provisions for those that already own a home. So, I guess we
need to start calling it the Home Buyer Tax Credit (HBTC). If you have
any questions on qualifying for the tax credit, be sure to read one of
my earlier posts.
Combined with bargain basement house prices, this could be the best opportunity to buy a home in many of our lifetimes.

Anyone whohas driven down Troy’s Big Beaver corridor is familiar with the spectacularsight of Somerset Mall. The mallstretches across Big Beaver and is connected by an elevated walkway thatconnects the North and South sections. In addition to its upscale anchor stores (Nieman Markus, Saks, Macy’s,and Nordstrom), Somerset’s smaller stores undoubtedly combine to make up thehighest-end shopping available in Michigan.
